How I approach a sound bath for others vs. one for myself - PLUS Sound Training Classes
PLUS your Mental Monday Sound Journey
Sound Journey for Mental Monday
People often ask me:
Do I get any benefit from presenting a sound journey?
Yes.
I definitely feel increased physical peace in my body, even though I am working with my upper body the whole time.
And in a group or 1:1 sound healing session I do experience the mental peace of having been “in sound”, but not the benefit of dropping down into the calm, healing brainwave state aka “entrainment” to the vibrational frequencies, which is when the healing happens.
But when I do sound for just myself, I do drop in:
SOUND FOR SELF: When I do a sound meditation journey for myself, I call the process “Informed | Intuitive”, because I am both the patient and the doctor, with no need to interpret the energetics outside of myself.
SOUND FOR OTHERS: I call presenting a sound journey an “Informed | Engaged | Intuitive” experience, because I am well trained (informed), I connect with and interpret the energetics of the client or the people in the room (engaged), and, because I am skilled, I am also able to lean into my intuition to perform whatever is needed in the moment.
TRAINING: If you are curious about learning sound healing, for yourself and/or others, join one of my summer cohorts - Aug 9 or Aug 30, 10am-1pm at ETNA Community Centre. No experience or instruments required (we use mine, and yours if you have, and have a wonderful time!). You will come away with skills and tools, knowledge and wisdom. Fee is £130.
Please get in touch with any questions… I am absolutely passionate about teaching others how to use sound for healing!
With love,
Jane
